Sunpor has a market share of approximately 15 per cent of the European market, producing almost 200 000 tonnes of EPS in 2017. The product is used primarily as a raw material in the production of insulation panels. Other end-uses include insulating and cushioning packaging.
Major investments and strong growth

Technological edge
The source of the company's strong growth is the in-house development of a new generation of EPS raw material, LAMBDAPOR®, what is termed "grey" EPS, which as a result of special additives and its manufacturing processes provides up to 25 per cent better insulation properties compared with traditional "white" EPS. Present production capacity of LAMBDAPOR® is 130 000 tonnes. LAMBDAPOR® is produced using a patented process.
